Suspect in Pattaya Triple Murder Claims Coercion by Mastermind

CHONBURI, Thailand – On August 3rd, 2026, police conducted an additional interview lasting approximately one hour with Mr. Chatchanan Paeniam, also known as “Fluke,” one of the suspects in the murders of three members of a Thai family near Pattaya. Pol. Col. Phasakorn Phaichit, Superintendent of Investigation for the Chonburi Provincial Police, led the questioning. During the interview, Mr. Paeniam partially admitted his involvement in the crime but claimed he was coerced into participating by the alleged mastermind behind the incident. Police are hopeful that this statement will contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the case. However, Mr. Paeniam explicitly denied any connection to other unsolved cases he is reportedly linked to.
