Cambodia Inspects Flood Impact, Focuses on Evacuee Support and Safety

On August 22, 2026, Cambodian National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) Vice Chairman Kim Virak inspected flood-affected areas and their impact on residents in Tboung Khmum province. Two districts, comprising 7 communes, were affected, impacting 596 households, with 526 evacuated. Authorities are prioritizing the safety and well-being of evacuees.
