Cambodian District Governor Encourages High School Exam Candidates
In Cambodia's Preah Sihanouk Province, the governor of Prey Nob district held a motivational session for students preparing for their high school exit examinations (Bac II). The district administration is providing comprehensive support, including accommodation, meals, and transport for the candidates. This initiative highlights the Cambodian government's commitment to investing in education and supporting the future of its youth.
In Prey Nob district, Preah Sihanouk Province, on the afternoon of Sunday, August 9, 2026, Mr. Ey Tharin, Governor of the Prey Nob District Administration, held a meeting with candidates for the 2025-2026 academic year's Grade 12 national examinations (Bac II), scheduled for August 10 and 11, 2026. Students from six high schools participated in this session. Governor Ey Tharin provided additional knowledge and encouraged the candidates to demonstrate their abilities, honed through 12 years of dedicated study. He emphasized the support provided under the guidance of HE Mang Sineth, Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province. The district administration has arranged accommodation for two nights, six meals, and free transport for bicycles and motorcycles to facilitate the exams for students from the six high schools: Hun Sen Veal Renh High School, Hun Sen Prey Nob High School, Hun Sen Stueng Hav High School, Techo Sen Bong Ta Prohm High School, Tuol Keov High School, and Hun Sen Kampong Silah High School. These students will take their exams at two centers within Prey Nob district: the science stream at Hun Sen Veal Renh Primary School and the social science stream at Hun Sen Veal Renh High School. Furthermore, the Prey Nob District Administration appealed to motorists traveling on National Road No. 4 to reduce speed and exercise extreme caution when passing through the exam center areas to ensure safety and avoid disturbing the candidates. The administration also invited philanthropists and the public to contribute material support to the candidates and working teams through the district administration. Governor Ey Tharin extended his best wishes to all candidates for good health, adherence to exam regulations, and success in achieving excellent results in the upcoming examinations.
