Cambodia Orders Crackdown on Online Scams, Targeting Perpetrators and Corrupt Officials
Cambodia's acting Prime Minister Hun Sen has ordered the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior to crack down on online scams, including interrogating arrested perpetrators and dismissing/punishing involved officials. The directive was issued during a meeting with administrative leaders in Phnom Penh.
