PM Rejects Teachers Carrying Firearms After School Shooting
Following a deadly school shooting by a 14-year-old student that resulted in seven fatalities, Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has rejected proposals to allow teachers to carry firearms, deeming it "unnecessary." While bullying has been suggested as a potential motive, the Prime Minister stated that teachers, not being law enforcement officers, should not carry firearms.
