It is known that a basic electrical skills training course has been opened and 19 subjects will be taught. On August 3, the opening ceremony of the Basic Electrical Skills Training Course, Series (1/2026), was held at the Electrical Inspection Training Hall in Kyauk Wine, Mayangon Township, Yangon Region. Dr. Charlie Than, Union Minister for the Ministry of Industry and Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises Development, said that the Basic Electrical Skills Training Course, Series (1/2026), has been opened, and 19 subjects will be taught by inspectors and staff from the Electrical Inspection Department, who have experience in practical electrical work, academic fields, and inspection operations. Dr. Charlie Than, the Union Minister, also stated that a topic will be included in this course to provide basic knowledge and techniques regarding solar power generation systems. He added that for a country's economic development, industrial production and all MSMEs need to develop, and for production activities to develop, it is an important requirement to produce skilled electricians who can operate electrical equipment safely, handle and install them systematically, and repair them. The course has been opened with the aim of enabling participants to understand basic electrical concepts, electrical laws, electrical regulations, and electrical legal procedures, to perform electrical work more skillfully and safely, to increase employment opportunities, and to develop human resources. It is known that 85 trainees are attending the course, and the training will be conducted for six weeks from August 3 to September 11.
