Thailand Proposes $160 Billion Water Management Project to Cabinet

Thailand's Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) has submitted a new large-scale water management project, estimated at 160 billion baht, to the cabinet. The project aims to control floodwaters from the north and mitigate flood risks in the greater Bangkok area by improving waterways connecting Chainat, the Pasak River, and the Gulf of Thailand.
