Ministry of Education selects 90 poor female students to stay in a dormitory to continue their studies in Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has announced the selection of 90 first-year female students from poor families (both scholarship recipients and fee-paying students) to temporarily reside at the Women's Student Dormitory, located next to the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, for the 2026-2027 academic year. This initiative aims to alleviate the study and living conditions of female students from disadvantaged backgrounds. For applications, candidates must submit their application forms in person at their respective higher education institutions from the date of this announcement until October 10, 2026. The Ministry of Education will announce the results on October 28, 2026, after the selection committee's decision. The results will be posted at the Women's Student Dormitory and on the Ministry's official website. 3. New dormitory ready to provide opportunities for needy female students to continue their studies in Phnom Penh: A dormitory for female students from poor families and vulnerable groups from various provinces, located in Prek Leap Commune, Chroy Changvar District, Phnom Penh, is approximately 70% complete and is scheduled for completion in December 2026.
