Ho Chi Minh City eyes free public Wi-Fi by 2030 in smart city push
Ho Chi Minh City has approved a smart city development plan aiming to provide free Wi-Fi in all public spaces by 2030. The initiative, modeled after Singapore and Shanghai, also targets 95% 5G coverage and a digital economy contributing 30-40% to GDP.
