Temporary Removal of Meter Boxes from Flooded Houses in Le Myar Nar

In Le Myar Nar Township, Ayeyarwady Region, meter boxes from houses that have been flooded are being temporarily removed by staff from the Hankhata District and Le Myar Nar Township Electric Engineering Offices to ensure electrical safety. It was learned from the Hankhata District and Le Myar Nar Township Electric Engineering Offices that the meter boxes are being temporarily removed from houses flooded within the township due to the breach of the Ngwan River embankment in Le Myar Nar Township, to prevent electrical hazards. As of August 4th, 255 meter boxes have been temporarily removed from flooded houses in Le Myar Nar Township, Ayeyarwady Region. Additionally, it was learned that a generator has been provided at the evacuation center and command post, and arrangements have been made for charging electrical appliances and phones.
