Bust of Major Methamphetamine Network in Buriram, Thailand; Woman Arrested

In Buriram Province, northeastern Thailand, a 28-year-old woman, believed to be a member of a drug trafficking network, has been arrested. Authorities were shocked by the scale of the operation after discovering a large quantity of methamphetamine buried in the ground of a chicken coop. The bust was part of an investigation into an organization linked to the "Ai Ball" drug syndicate. The discovered methamphetamine is estimated to exceed 333,000 pills, highlighting the severe reality of drug trafficking within Thailand. Buriram Province is located near the border with Cambodia, and has previously been reported as a breeding ground for drug trafficking.
