They have also been arrested and detained abroad for serving on ships carrying illegal smuggled goods, according to the announcement. Therefore, due to these incidents, such as not receiving compensation for injuries and life insurance due to serving on ships without guarantees, not meeting the requirements of the Minimum Terms and Conditions, and not being able to effectively secure the benefits of seamen due to the lack of firm legal contracts, seamen not gaining sea experience and not being able to attend training courses because the ship they departed on and the ship they served on are different, and individuals opening offices and recruiting new people through social media without applying for and obtaining official SRPS licenses from the department are illegally obtaining travel permits, falsifying positions in SIRB (CDC), fraudulently obtaining sea experience, and being dispatched to ships without completing the prescribed training for their respective ranks, the department will not allow male new seamen and female seamen to travel abroad with a Seaman Passport (PS) starting from September 15.
