Caraga Police Deputy Director Promoted to Brigadier General

Colonel Rommel Rumbaoa, deputy regional director for administration of the Police Regional Office-13 (PRO-13) or the Caraga Administrative Region, has been promoted to brigadier general. Rumbaoa took his oath of office and received his one-star rank during a ceremony held at the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters at Camp Crame in Quezon City on July 17. PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. administered the oath-taking and led the ceremonial donning of ranks. As deputy regional director for administration, Rumbaoa oversees administrative operations and organizational support services that contribute to the operational readiness of police units in the Caraga region. Brig. Gen. Marcial Mariano Magistrado IV, PRO-13 regional director, congratulated Rumbaoa, describing the promotion as recognition of his years of service and leadership in the police organization. “PBGen Rumbaoa’s promotion is a testament to his professionalism, integrity and unwavering dedication to duty,” Magistrado said. He added that Rumbaoa’s experience and leadership would help strengthen the regional police office and inspire its personnel.
