Deputy Prime Minister Kun Kim, who also serves as Vice President and Secretary-General of the Association of Cambodian Veterans and Retirees, visited displaced residents staying at a safety center in Pong village, Chongkal district, Oddar Meanchey province on the afternoon of July 7, 2026. He engaged in conversations with the displaced people residing in temporary shelters. Following the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Kun Kim, along with the provincial administration of Oddar Meanchey, relevant ministries, and local authorities, inspected land designated for the second phase of constructing additional temporary housing for displaced residents who cannot return to their homes.
