Vietnam's Ministry of National Defense Honors Families of Fallen Soldiers

Ahead of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27, a delegation from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense visited Thai Nguyen province on July 23 to offer condolences and support to "policy families" in the region. The delegation, led by Lieutenant General Le Van Huong, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, paid tribute to individuals and families who have contributed to the nation's development and presented gifts. Thai Nguyen province is also accelerating its campaign to collect and identify the remains of fallen soldiers through DNA analysis, with a target completion date in September. This initiative underscores the nation's commitment to remembering and honoring the sacrifices of its heroes.
