Cambodian PM Hun Manet Orders Transfer of 5 District/City Governors in Kandal

Prime Minister Hun Manet of Cambodia has issued a sub-decree ordering the transfer of five district and city governors in Kandal Province to new positions. This decision is understood to be part of a series of administrative reforms aimed at increasing the efficiency and dynamism of local governance. The five officials affected by this transfer include the governors of Ponhea Leu district, Ta Khmau city, Leuk Daek district, Kandal Stoeng district, and Lvea Aem district, each of whom will assume leadership roles in different districts and cities within the province. Specifically, Thon Sokna, formerly governor of Ponhea Leu district, will move to Leuk Daek district. Khim Samphchea, formerly governor of Ta Khmau city, will be transferred to Lvea Aem district. Chab Chantivithya, formerly governor of Leuk Daek district, will become governor of Kandal Stoeng district. Ouch Saovoeun, formerly governor of Kandal Stoeng district, will be appointed as governor of Ponhea Leu district. Lastly, Liv Vantheng, formerly governor of Lvea Aem district, will take over as governor of Ta Khmau city.
