Cambodia's Ministry of Interior Announces Recruitment Exam for 150 IT and Digital Professionals

The Ministry of Interior of Cambodia has announced the recruitment of 150 individuals with expertise in Information Technology (IT) and digital technologies through a competitive examination. These recruits will serve in various departments under the ministry. The selected candidates are slated to work in twelve departments within the Ministry of Interior, including the National Police General Commissariat, the Directorate General of Digital Technology and Education Dissemination, the Cambodian Police Academy, the Directorate General of Human Resources, the General Secretariat, the Directorate General of Logistics and Finance, the Directorate General of Immigration, the Directorate General of Identification, the Inspectorate General, the Directorate General of Internal Audit, the Legislative Council, and the Directorate General of Prisons. According to a notification from the Ministry dated September 17, 2026, eligible candidates, regardless of gender, must be Cambodian nationals residing permanently within the country and meet other relevant conditions as determined by the competitive examination committee. Application forms will be distributed from September 28 to October 2, 2026, and accepted from October 5 to October 9, 2026. The distribution and reception of applications will take place at the Ministry of Interior's Radio and Television Station within the ministry's headquarters. Furthermore, each candidate is required to register through an online system to apply for the competitive examination.
