シン・ムイさん(44歳)がプレアビヒア州の一時的な「待機村」にある真新しい家のドアの鍵を開けたとき、彼女はついに家族に何か月も欠けていたもの、つまり再び逃げなければならないことを恐れずに横たわることのできる場所を手に入れた。 しかし、新しく建てられた家が立ち並び、きれいな水と電気があるにもかかわらず、彼女の思いは、昨年の衝突でタイの砲撃があり放棄せざるを得なくなった質素な家とキャッサバ農場に固執し続けている。
