The announcement came during a meeting on July 15 between H.E. Dr. Keo Piseth, Permanent Deputy Secretary-General of the National Assembly, and a regional delegation from the World Health Organisation (WHO) led by Dr. Genevieve Howse, Coordinator for Legislation and Governance at WHO WPRO, at the National Assembly Palace. H.E. Dr. Keo Piseth, who also serves as Chief of Cabinet to the President of the National Assembly, stressed that Cambodia is well-prepared to host the forum, noting that a series of coordination meetings at various levels have been held to ensure thorough preparations and uphold the reputation of both the National Assembly and the WHO.
