Myanmar information ministry revokes recognition of three news agencies
Myanmar’s Ministry of Information said it has closed three news agency businesses under the Printing and Publishing Law, naming Myae Latt Athan, Red News Agency, and Asia Citizens. The ministry said the revocation took effect on April 23, 2026.
