Northern Luzon braces for heavy rains, strong winds as LPA approaches
A low-pressure area (LPA) is approaching the Philippines, forecast to bring heavy rains and strong winds to Northern Luzon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). The LPA may be named 'Kiyapo' and could develop into a tropical storm.
