Da Nang Resolves Land Issues for Two Urban Development Projects Near Hoi An

Da Nang City has decided to resume land allocation and leasing for two urban development projects, the 'North Hoi An Commercial Service Urban Area' and the 'Ha My Complex Urban Area', located near Hoi An, by applying a special mechanism. This measure aims to resolve prolonged project stagnation and facilitate development. The Da Nang City People's Committee issued decisions on September 8, permitting the implementation of these projects. Both projects are situated along the Lac Long Quan coastal road, connecting Da Nang and Hoi An, approximately 6-9 km from Hoi An Ancient Town. The 'North Hoi An Commercial Service Urban Area' has already seen the construction of numerous shophouses. Following a review, the city authorities confirmed that both projects fully meet all conditions stipulated by the government for implementing special mechanisms and policies to overcome difficulties and obstacles for stalled and protracted projects, as per the National Assembly's resolution. Specifically, the housing construction investment project for the 'North Hoi An Commercial Service Urban Area' is undertaken by North Hoi An Urban Development Co., Ltd. as the investor. The 'Ha My Complex Urban Area' project is invested in by Ha My Complex Joint Stock Company, with a planned area of 51,530 square meters, and an estimated 18,459 square meters to be allocated and leased. Prior to this, the city authorities had also issued decisions to continue land allocation and leasing for two other projects, 'An Nam Urban Area' and 'Lam Urban Area', under similar special policies.
