Da Nang Hosts Cultural and Tourism Festival Honoring Underground Tunnel History

On the evening of July 24, 2026, the People's Committee of Ban Thach Ward, Da Nang City, inaugurated the "Ky Anh Underground Tunnel - Song Dam Reed Bed" Cultural and Tourism Festival, with the theme "An Epic in the Earth." The festival aims to honor the historical significance of the Ky Anh underground tunnels, built during the Vietnam War, and to preserve local culture and utilize tourism resources. These tunnels are a symbol of the residents' continued resistance in difficult circumstances and are a valuable heritage conveying that history to the present day. During the festival, participants will have the opportunity to view exhibits recreating the tunnel's structure and daily life during that period, and listen to historical testimonies. Events showcasing local culinary culture and traditional arts will also be held, contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.
