The gifts were handed over to the officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Oddar Meanchey Operational Zone, under Military Region 4, who are stationed to defend the border along the Cambodia-Thailand line. The donated items included a large quantity of essential food and daily necessities, such as rice, vermicelli, canned fish, fish sauce, soy sauce, drinking water, dried fish, pork sausages, coffee, Ovaltine, tarpaulins, and cooking oil, along with some financial contributions. These are intended to facilitate and respond to the daily living needs of the troops on the front lines. H.E. the Secretary of State conveyed the deepest regards and concern from Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and Prime Minister Hun Manet to all commanders, deputy commanders, and military personnel. He also expressed profound admiration and gratitude for the heroism, patriotism, and high spirit of sacrifice demonstrated by the soldiers. He commended their diligent fulfillment of duty with unwavering resolve in protecting the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peace of the motherland. Furthermore, H.E. stated that this visit is not only to bring material assistance to the frontline troops but also serves as a clear demonstration of the unwavering solidarity and unity of the Khmer nation under the wise leadership of the government.
