US NBC Helicopter Crashes, Unrelated to Cambodia but Information Spreads

A helicopter belonging to US broadcaster NBC 4 crashed in Los Angeles, California, on September 15, killing at least three people. The helicopter was in the air over the Chatsworth area of the city, covering a traffic accident where a car and a bus collided, resulting in three fatalities and several injuries from the road incident. Witnesses at the scene reported seeing the helicopter fall to the ground near the bus accident site, emitting thick smoke. The aircraft crashed in a space between two warehouses, striking two containers that were on top of a truck. Four parked vehicles nearby were also engulfed in flames, but the warehouses themselves were not affected. Aerial footage broadcast by American media showed parts of the helicopter wreckage on fire, with its tail and rotors burning. Fire officials confirmed three fatalities, with one individual appearing to have died on the ground. One person was reported injured. Typically, US television station helicopters carry a crew of two: a pilot and a camera operator. This incident is unrelated to Cambodian domestic affairs, including its politics, economy, or relations with China.
