Cambodia Offers Free Cleft Lip and Palate Surgeries to Restore Children's Smiles

Smile of Cambodia, in collaboration with the China Council of Lions Clubs and the BEAM International Foundation Hong Kong, will organize a program to provide free surgical operations and treatment for patients with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities for four days, from September 17 to 20, at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital. This offering is designed to provide an opportunity for patients suffering from facial impairments to receive free examinations, treatment, and surgery. In addition to surgeries and treatments for cleft lip and palate, the program will also offer services for other issues, including burn wounds, dental problems, speech impediments, and various other facial deformities. The primary objective of this program is to assist patients with oral and facial conditions in receiving free examinations, treatment, and surgery from a team of specialists, thereby contributing to the improvement of their health and quality of life.
