Kampong Cham Polytechnic Institute Trains Over 2,000 Youth in 3 Years

The Kampong Cham Polytechnic Institute (PIKP) in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia, has announced that it has trained a total of 2,105 students and young individuals in technical and vocational skills over the past three years, aiming to meet labor market demands. According to Mr. Hav Thin, Director of PIKP, out of the 2,105 individuals trained, 518 pursued studies at the technical bachelor's and master's degree levels. The remaining 1,587 were young people from impoverished and at-risk families. "The Kampong Cham Polytechnic Institute provides opportunities for youth to receive technical and vocational education and training at all levels, enabling them to acquire skills and competencies suitable for entering the labor market," stated the Director. For the new academic year, the institute has opened admissions for students and youth in key technical fields, ranging from Technical and Vocational Certificate levels (C1, C2, and C3) up to technical bachelor's and master's degrees.
