Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security has dismantled a major cross-border smuggling ring led by the Head of Pharmacy at the Central Traditional Medicine Hospital. The group disguised medical-grade caffeine as construction materials and animal feed, exporting it through Laos to Myanmar for the illicit production of synthetic drugs.
