Bangkok Esports 2026 Concludes with Thrilling Finals, Crowned Champions Across 4 Games

The "Bangkok Esports 2026" tournament, a national esports event supported by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's Bureau of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Esports Association of Thailand, concluded its fourth consecutive year with exciting finals. This year's competition featured four popular games: Arena of Valor (ROV), Free Fire, FC Online, and Street Fighter 6. Over 1,000 athletes competed for a total prize pool of 336,000 Baht. On July 19th, the final day of the tournament, championship matches for all four games took place. In FC Online, a highly anticipated clash between "JUBJUB" Pattanachak Woranan and "TD Keane" Thedet Songsaikul, both national team players who previously won a world championship together, unfolded. In a thrilling Best-of-3 (BO3) format, JUBJUB took an early lead with a 4-0 victory in the first game. However, TD Keane fought back, securing the second game 2-1, forcing a decisive third game. TD Keane initially led 4-2, but JUBJUB managed to equalize at 4-4. In the dying moments of the match, TD Keane substituted in Ricardo Kaka, who scored the winning goal, clinching the game 5-4. TD Keane secured his first Bangkok Esports FC Online championship, earning 10,000 Baht, while two-time champion JUBJUB finished as runner-up, receiving 5,000 Baht. Third place went to "Newoff" Phattranun Khamklieang, who received 3,000 Baht. In the Street Fighter 6 finals, "MindRPG" Tham Homchuen faced "Music4friends" Pongpol Chimtheth in a rematch of last year's final. This year, MindRPG, having prepared thoroughly, avenged his previous loss by defeating Music4friends 3-0 using M.BISON against KIMBERLY. MindRPG claimed the championship title and 10,000 Baht. Music4friends received 5,000 Baht for second place, and "AmNoobZ" Pornadis Janbamrung took third place with 3,000 Baht. For Free Fire, the final round saw 12 teams battling it out across five intense matches. AVIDA NINJA and PHAYAK were neck-and-neck in points. AVIDA NINJA consistently placed in the top 4, while PHAYAK secured multiple "BOOYAH" (victory) moments towards the end. Ultimately, AVIDA NINJA secured the championship with a total score of 121 points, narrowly beating PHAYAK's 120 points. A crucial moment was when PHAYAK finished seventh in one of the games, losing significant points. AVIDA NINJA, composed of "NORWAYz" Punyapat Ruenklintchan, "RIKKAXZ" Panitan Malayu, "EUROXZ!" Atiwara Chueapor, and FAHNA Siwakorn, won the 40,000 Baht prize. PHAYAK, consisting of "ACHI1X" Achita Prasobsathaporn, "PEEMSR" Phawaran Kunal, "X?" Nopadol Sriyala, "Jom Marn" Patcharaphon Chanthan, and "JAYCOB" Jetarin Kaewpradit, received 20,000 Baht for second place. Third place went to team SPEED with 10,000 Baht. In the ROV (Arena of Valor) finals, a highly anticipated match between MiTH and DOOWHITE x GTH took place. MiTH, featuring "RRNNKK" Sornsarun Wandee, "Alex" Thanapol Suchaiya, "MercedesZ" Wannawisith Wisutwian, "GPPPPPPP" Suthee Sriphaiboon, "Riumanrai" Nonthapat Panichthanakom, and "jubie" Narintorn Chaichangchid, faced DOOWHITE x GTH, with "Youngdumb'" Sirawit Jaisaeng, "glasses'-'" Weeranun Nanthamongkol, "Joelong" Sanchai Saechai, "Faluk Por Por" Teerapat Kampongchan, "unz" Chonnakarn Rueanwong, and "Helen Med Muang" Jakree Ngongkhong.
