Kampot City Residents Urge Authorities to Repair Severely Damaged Road

Residents in Kampot City, Kampot Province, have requested Governor Mao Soknin to instruct the relevant departments and city authorities to inspect and repair a road segment over 200 meters long. They state that the road is riddled with numerous potholes, significantly hindering the daily commute for residents and international tourists. According to a resident who wished to remain anonymous, the damaged section of the road is approximately over 200 meters in length and is located on the eastern side, adjacent to the military command headquarters in Kampong Kandal commune, Kampot City. Currently, this road is severely damaged with many small and large potholes, causing significant difficulties for daily travel and posing a high risk of traffic accidents. Residents strongly hope that the provincial authorities and relevant departments in Kampot Province will expedite measures to repair or improve this road segment, thereby facilitating the lives of the residents and contributing to the enhancement of the city's aesthetics and tourism sector.
