AKP Phnom Penh, September 3, 2026 -- Cambodia’s Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training announced Thursday that the upcoming National Job and Productivity Fair 2026 will present more than 35,000 employment opportunities from roughly 150 participating companies and enterprises. The two-day annual event is scheduled to take place on Sept. 12-13 at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh. Mr. Sun Mesa, a spokesperson for the Ministry, said the exposition serves as a crucial platform directly connecting job seekers with prospective employers. It aims to assist students, recent graduates, and job hunters in finding positions tailored to their skills and career interests. "Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from various companies, enterprises, and factories to learn about recruitment needs, working conditions, available positions, and career growth pathways," he stated. Applicants attending the fair will be able to create resumes on-site, submit applications directly, and undergo immediate interviews with hiring managers. In addition to employment networking, the fair will feature productivity workshops led by industry experts sharing practical knowledge and best practices. The 2026 event is co-organised by the National Employment Agency (NEA), the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia in Phnom Penh, and the Textile, Apparel, Footwear and Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC), with support from the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and other partner organisations. To ensure broad access amid a rapidly evolving labour market, an online counterpart will run concurrently via the NEA portal (careerfair.nea.gov.kh), enabling remote applicants to browse openings and participate digitally.
