Ayeyarwaddy Times September 11 A video recording has emerged today showing FPV attack drones targeting Taungoo Air Base in Mandalay Region, successfully hitting a location where military personnel were gathered. The video recording shows an FPV drone released by revolutionary forces flying directly over the fighter jet hangars within the air base and hitting its target where air force personnel were assembled. Although there may be casualties on the military side due to this attack, neither side has officially released a list of casualties yet. Regarding the recent attack on Taungoo Air Base, it is being reported that four fighter jets were hit, two of which exploded and burned completely, while the other two were severely damaged. Following the attack, flights at Mandalay International Airport, which is adjacent to the Taungoo Air Base headquarters, were temporarily suspended. According to a statement released this morning by MAI Airlines, all international flights have been suspended indefinitely, while domestic flights will be rerouted via a nearby airport in Pyin Oo Lwin. The military side has announced that the attack by six FPV drones was intercepted by its air defense system and that there were no casualties. Furthermore, they have falsely announced that the attack constitutes a war crime in violation of the Geneva Conventions and international laws.
