Two LPAs, Habagat to Bring Heavy Rains Over Philippines
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecasts heavy rains across the country on Tuesday, August 4, due to two low-pressure areas (LPAs) and the southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat. Flood risks are highlighted in parts of Northern Luzon and the Visayas.
