Myanmar Meteorology Dept. Warns of Severe Pre-Monsoon Weather

Myanmar's Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) issued a warning on May 1st, urging the public to exercise extreme caution regarding severe weather phenomena, including strong winds, thunderstorms, hail, and lightning, expected nationwide during the pre-monsoon period in May, prior to the arrival of the southwest monsoon. Domestic air and sea travel operators have also been advised to take precautions.
