VietABank Launches Automated Branches 'ezLive' in Hanoi and HCMC

VietABank has expanded its self-service transaction model on a digital platform by launching two automated branches, ezLive, in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on July 23. The opening ceremony was held online, connecting the two locations with the participation of the Board of Directors, leaders of units within the system, partners, and guests. The core of the ezLive model is the Smart Transaction Machine (STM), which is synchronously integrated with the VietABank digital banking app and eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer) solutions. Through this device, customers can open accounts online, deposit and withdraw cash, transfer funds, open and settle savings accounts, register for credit card issuance, apply for loans, and access many other banking services. The technological highlight of the STM system at ezLive is its dual authentication capability, combining QR code scanning on the VietABank app or chip-embedded Citizen ID cards (CCCD) with biometric technology to enhance security during transactions. Notably, ezLive operates outside of regular business hours, allowing customers to conduct transactions at their convenience. On the opening day, the two branches welcomed numerous customers to experience the services on the STM. Nguyen Van Trong, CEO of VietABank, stated that ezLive is part of the bank's strategy to develop its digital banking ecosystem, connecting digital services into a seamless experience for customers. He added, "After evaluating the effectiveness of the first two locations, we will gradually scale up the ezLive model and expand digital touchpoints across the entire system." To celebrate the launch, VietABank is offering a promotion for customers experiencing the ezLive automated branches. Customers making at least one valid transaction on the STM, such as opening an account, registering for card issuance, or depositing/withdrawing cash, will receive direct gifts and Got It vouchers usable at over 24,000 shopping, dining, and entertainment points like ShopeeFood, Tops Market, and Co.opmart. The bank is also gifting customers who check-in at the ezLive space from July 23 to August 23.
