Miss Teen Contestant Vows to Win Regardless of Host Country

Lourk Hoa, the Cambodian representative for the upcoming Miss Teen Icon International 2026, has expressed her strong determination regarding the possibility of Thailand being among the host country candidates. According to the official Facebook page of the pageant, four countries are shortlisted as potential hosts for the 2026 Miss Teen Icon International: the United States, India, Indonesia, and Thailand. Regarding Thailand's inclusion, a country with which Cambodia has political tensions, Lourk Hoa stated, "It doesn't matter which country becomes the host." The contestant emphasized that she is "fully prepared to win this crown, regardless of the host nation," asserting that the host country's decision will not affect her performance. She likened her readiness to a sharp, honed blade, ready to bring a second crown to Cambodia. Following Lourk Hoa's statement, many of her supporters have offered encouragement and backing. She is a proven talent, having previously won titles such as Misspreteen Cambodia 2023, Misspreteen Junior Idol World 2024, and Miss Teen Cambodia 2025, leading to high expectations for this competition. Lourk Hoa expressed her joy at being selected as Cambodia's representative and pledged to give her utmost effort, even with strong competitors from around the world.
