CREC Commences 41-MW Solar Project in Pampanga, Boosting Renewable Energy Integration
Citicore Renewable Energy Corp. (CREC) has begun construction on a 41-MW solar power project in Pampanga, its first "embedded" solar facility directly linked to a distribution utility. The project includes a 53-megawatt-hour battery energy storage system, aiming to address renewable energy variability and reduce power costs.
