Thailand Reports 40 Nominee Companies Charged, BOI Investigates Foreign Ownership Violations

Thailand's Deputy Minister of Interior announced that 40 'nominee' companies, used to conceal actual foreign ownership, have been charged. The Board of Investment (BOI) is investigating 280 firms, with only 8 expected to qualify for loan support.
