Thai Railways to Overhaul 17 Japanese Used Diesel Railcars for 271 Million Baht; Bids Due Oct 26

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) is set to commence a major overhaul project for 17 used Kiha 183 series diesel railcars transferred from Japan. The project, with a total budget of 271 million baht, is scheduled for bidding on October 26. This initiative is expected to enhance rail transport capacity and address aging rolling stock within Thailand.
