Vietnam to Host VITW 2026, a Major Industrial and Technology Expo

The Vietnam Industrial and Technology Week 2026 (VITW 2026) is set to take place from September 9-11, 2026, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Hanoi. This major international expo will bring together over 2,000 leading domestic and international companies, highlighting Vietnam's advancements in industry and technology. Under the theme “Technology Leads - Industry Transforms - Breakthroughs Reach Far,” VITW 2026 will integrate technology exhibitions and demonstrations with specialized conferences and trade exchanges, offering a platform to share the latest trends shaping the global industrial landscape. Exhibitors will include top companies in sectors such as electric vehicles, automation, green manufacturing, and supply chain restructuring. Participants aim to discover new business partners, explore investment opportunities, and stay updated on the latest industry developments. The VEC venue will span over 70,000 square meters, featuring seven exhibition and conference zones. These include the Vietnam International Industrial Fair 2026 (VIIF 2026), the International Manufacturing Conference 2026 (IMC 2026), the Hanoi Industrial Products Fair 2026 (Hanoi MIP Fair 2026), and Automation World Vietnam 2026, among others. VIIF 2026 will showcase a range of products including VinFast's electric vehicles, various vehicles and components, robots, manufacturing machinery, and software. The Hanoi MIP Fair 2026, organized by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, will focus on five strategic sectors: microchips and semiconductors, IT, electricity-electronics, mechanical engineering, and healthcare, textiles, footwear, and food and beverages. IMC 2026 will gather policymakers, business leaders, investors, and experts from both within and outside Vietnam to discuss critical topics impacting business competitiveness. These include advanced manufacturing, AI and automation, high-value investment attraction, supply chain restructuring, energy security, green production, and human resource development, across 18 specialized sessions. VITW 2026 underscores Vietnam's favorable position to benefit from global industrial trends. The manufacturing sector contributes approximately 24.5% to GDP, with manufacturing exports projected to exceed $421 billion in 2025, accounting for nearly 89% of total exports, signifying Vietnam's growing role in global production and supply chains. In an era of profound transformation in manufacturing driven by AI, automation, digitalization, energy, and human capital, VITW 2026 is expected to serve as a strategic platform to enhance the competitiveness of Vietnam's manufacturing sector.
