Cambodian Prime Minister's Humanitarian Aid Donated to Kampong Thom Military Region Command

Kim Bunthan, Minister Delegate attached to the Prime Minister, representing Prime Minister Hun Manet, has handed over humanitarian aid to the Kampong Thom Regional Military Command. The donation includes 10 tons of rice, 500 boxes of instant noodles, 100 boxes of canned fish, 1,000 bottles of fish sauce and soy sauce, and 2,000 sheets of zinc. This aid is intended to alleviate the hardships faced by impoverished individuals, particularly former soldiers and needy citizens in Kampong Thom province. Major General Som Sun, Commander of the Kampong Thom Regional Military Command and Chairman of the Secretariat of the Kampong Thom Provincial Association of Former Soldiers and Retirees, warmly welcomed Minister Delegate Kim Bunthan. He expressed profound gratitude to Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife for their generous contribution, which will be used to support former soldiers and residents facing difficulties. Major General Som Sun pledged to ensure the timely distribution of the donated food, provisions, and zinc sheets to those in genuine need across Kampong Thom province. Minister Delegate Kim Bunthan commended Major General Som Sun and the leadership of the Kampong Thom Regional Military Command for their excellent solidarity and unity in fulfilling their duties. He specifically praised their active engagement in preventing and suppressing natural resource crimes and their extensive humanitarian efforts, including providing food assistance and constructing homes for former soldiers in Kampong Thom province. Minister Delegate Kim Bunthan advised the leadership of the Kampong Thor Regional Military Command to maintain their solidarity and unity in performing their duties effectively. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the orders of all levels of command within the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces for the protection of the nation, religion, and the King. Furthermore, he urged them to continue their diligent efforts in serving and resolving the difficulties of former soldiers and citizens in Kampong Thom province, thereby living up to the trust placed in them by the leadership.
