Thailand completed a clean sweep of all three techball gold medals at the 2026 Asian Games on September 20th, securing their final triumph in the men's doubles final at Nagoya City Higashi Sports Centre. World champions Sornsak Thaosiri and Jeerati Chanliang defeated Lebanon’s Ahmad Kassem Arabi and Mohammad Hafez in straight sets, with a score of 12-7, 12-4. This victory marked Thailand's third techball gold medal of the Games. The nation had previously clinched gold in both the women's doubles and mixed doubles events, thus dominating all three categories they entered. All three Thai pairs had advanced to their respective finals on September 20th, underscoring their strong performance. Techball, a sport akin to a blend of footbag and volleyball where players use parts of their body like feet, head, and shoulders to send a ball over the net, is a relatively new addition to the Asian Games roster.
