CPP Holds Gathering with New Members in Tboung Khmum Province

On June 28, 2026, the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) held a meeting with new party members from seven communes in Tboung Khmum province's Tamber district. The event was presided over by Mr. Chai Borin, a member of the CPP Central Committee and head of the working group for Tamber district. During the occasion, Mr. Chai Borin conveyed greetings from the party leader to all new members and expressed admiration and high appreciation for their spirit of unity, solidarity, and their correct decision to voluntarily join the political life of the Cambodian People's Party. He emphasized that their participation is a significant contribution to building good deeds across the country, reflecting the true values of the party as it marks its 75th anniversary (June 28, 1951 – June 28, 2026). Furthermore, Mr. Chai Borin reminded the new members of the party's immense and invaluable historical contributions to the nation. He stressed that during times of national catastrophe, it was the CPP that sacrificed its flesh and blood to fight for the liberation of the nation and the salvation of the people from the genocidal regime. After the liberation on January 7, the party began to rebuild and develop the country from scratch, leading to the progress seen in all sectors today. Mr. Chai Borin provided three recommendations to the new party members: 1. To become propagandists for the party, introducing and promoting to other party members to join the life of the Cambodian People's Party. 2. To actively encourage family members and friends to register to vote and ensure everyone is checked in the voter list. 3. To participate in the implementation of the "Safe Villages and Communes" policy. On this special occasion, Mr. Chai Borin wished the 1,066 new members from seven communes well and extended a warm welcome to leaders and members from all political parties operating in the Kingdom of Cambodia, as well as those active in Tboung Khmum province, who wish to transition and join the political life of the Cambodian People's Party to further build and develop the motherland towards greater prosperity under the umbrella of peace.
