Receiving Advices of Guidance : MORA UM inspected constructing final cremation pyre

The remains of the Bhaddanta Janakabhivamsa Maha Thera, the Presiding Nayaka of Channyay Yeiktha Monastery in Mayangone Township, Yangon Region, the Ratthaññu Maha Nayaka of the Shwegyin Nikaya, Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika, Agga Maha Kammaṭṭhānācariya , Pali Text Purifier of the Sixth Buddhist Council and holder of the titles Sakyasiha and Siripavara Dhammacariya who passed away at 11:03 a.m., on the 8th waxing day of Thawthalin in the Myanmar year 1388, corresponding to September 19, 2026 (Saturday), was paid homage by the Union Minister for Religious Affairs U Tin Oo Lwin on September 21. The Union Minister and party paid homage to the Ovadacariya Sayadaws responsible for conducting the final cremation ceremony, and received their admonitions. Afterward, the Union Minister, together with the members of committees organizing the final cremation ceremony, arrived at the Thuwunna Bhumi grounds in Thingangyun Township, Yangon, where the final cremation was to take place, and paid homage to Sayadaw Bhaddanta Jatila of Kuthodaw Monastery in Mandalay, who was conducting the final cremation. Together with Sayadaw Bhaddanta Jatila, the Union Minister inspected the ongoing construction of the final cremation pyre and the ceremony halls for the Sangha and for laypersons, it’s learnt.
