Cycling for Cambodian Children' Campaign Raises Over $260,000

The Ministry of Information held a press conference on the afternoon of July 27, 2026, to officially announce the conclusion of the noble mission "Cycling for Cambodian Children," led by Mr. Net Phakthra, Minister of Information. The event was attended by Mr. Tiw Tararith, a cyclist who circumnavigated the globe, the acting CEO of Khmer Beverages, and representatives from the Kantha Bopha Foundation and Angkor Hospital for Children. The event took place at the Ministry of Information headquarters. During this extraordinary mission, Mr. Tiw Tararith spent over two years cycling through more than 40 countries around the world to raise funds for Cambodian children. Through these highly dedicated efforts, he has collected a total of over $260,000 USD. This fund will be donated to the Kantha Bopha Foundation of Cambodia and Angkor Hospital for Children to support the provision of free medical services and care for Cambodian children. The presence of Mr. Net Phakthra and representatives from various relevant institutions reflects the widespread support and recognition for this meaningful humanitarian mission.
