Fire in Kalay City, Three Women Dead

It has been learned from the Fire Brigade of Myanmar and local social assistance organizations that a fire broke out in a two-story building on Bo Gyi Road, Tapu Thita Ward, Kalay City, Sagaing Region, at approximately 11:10 PM on September 21, and three women died. The fire occurred on the upper floor of the Apple Computer Typing and Copy Shop, located next to Kabar Yadanar Bank. It is reported that the fire was extinguished at approximately 11:45 PM after fire engines (2), water tankers (2), firefighters, and local social assistance organizations from the Kalay District and Township Fire Stations jointly fought the blaze. It is understood that three women who were on the upper floor of the shop died as a result of the fire, and the bodies were assisted in being transported to Kalay City People's Hospital by vehicles by the Punya Kuthala Social Assistance Organization and the Karuna Social Assistance Organization.
