Indigenous Pnong Youth Arrested in Mondulkiri for Drug Offenses

In Koh Nhek district, Mondulkiri province, Cambodia, a young Pnong individual was arrested on drug offense charges. The arrest was executed based on a court warrant issued by the Mondulkiri Provincial Court. The operation took place on September 9th in Kmoh Krom village, Koh Nhek district. The suspect, identified as Hong Vibol, also known as Poy, is a 20-year-old male of Pnong ethnicity and Cambodian nationality, residing in the same village. The arrest warrant, number 267 "Ch" Dajon, was issued on December 30, 2024, by Mr. Chan Da Ravong, President of the Trial Council of the Mondulkiri Provincial Court. Following the execution of the warrant, the drug enforcement unit brought the aforementioned individual to the Koh Nhek District Police Inspectorate for questioning and further legal proceedings.
