That Dam Restoration Halted Pending Heritage Authority Approval
Restoration work on Laos' That Dam has been temporarily suspended as approval from the Heritage and Fine Arts Department under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism was not obtained. Authorities stated future restorations will adhere to technical conservation principles and regulations for proper preservation of the historical heritage site.
