Dong Nai Highway Collapse: PM Orders Accountability Probe

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has ordered a swift investigation and accountability probe following a serious accident at a highway construction site in Dong Nai province, Vietnam. The incident, which occurred during construction on the Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway section, resulted in three fatalities and several injuries due to a collapse. Local media reports indicate that heavy vehicles were seen falling into the pit at the accident site. The Prime Minister has directed relevant ministries and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to thoroughly determine the exact cause of the accident, identify those responsible, and impose strict penalties. Furthermore, he mandated a review and strengthening of safety management systems across all infrastructure construction projects nationwide to prevent similar incidents.
