In its 5 a.m. weather forecast, weather specialist Veronica Torres said cloudy skies with rain and thunderstorms are expected in these areas. Locally heavy rains are also possible over Western Luzon, Visayas, and parts of Mindanao on Saturday. The weather disturbance could affect a wide area of the Philippines.
